PNY XLR8 REV RGB Memory Kit Overview
Taking a first look at the memory modules they have a pretty stylish heatspreader which is all black with the “XLR8” logo in the center. The top and bottom half of the heatspreader sort of have this pyramid design, which is something we haven’t seen before.
Flipping the modules over they have the same design on the opposite side, but there is a sticker with all of your relevant information. As a reminder this is the MD16GK2D4360018X2RGB kit which is a 16GB (2x8GB) kit running at 3600 MHz with timings of 18-20-20-40 at 1.35V.
At the top of the modules there is an opaque white diffuser that sits on top of the RGB LEDs. Towards the left edge is another XLR8 logo.
The diffuser ads a little bit of height to the modules, but we measured them at 39.6 mm so you really shouldn’t run into any clearance issues.
