Yeyian Pegasus Power Supplies
The big difference between the 1000W and 850W units is that the 1000W unit is 80PLUS Platinum certified, while the 850W is only 80PLUS Gold certified. This can be confusing as typically we see a product line has the same specifications across the board. Each of these units are the same size with official dimensions of 5.9 x 6.3 x 3.3in. Being this size this will easily fit in mid-tower cases without any issues.
On the bottom of each unit is a cooling fan covered by a grill. This is a 140mm fluid dynamic bearing fan. Right in the center is the Yeyian logo.
On one side of the unit you’ll find an embossed Yeyian logo as well as some ventilation holes.
On the opposite side there is a sticker telling you all of the information and input / output values for each unit.
This is a fully modular power supply so on the end of the unit you will find all of your modular connections, which are labeled. Being modular means that you only use the cables you need, making less cable mess inside your system.
The opposite end of each unit is ventilated with your power connection and a physical power button.
Who is the Yeyian Pegasus Power Supplies For?
If you are going to be building a new system or even upgrading your system with a new NVIDIA RTX 40 series graphics card you should definitely consider a Yeyian Pegasus power supply. These units follow the ATX 3.0 standard so you know your components are going to be safe. You also get a dedicated 12VHPWR power cable so you don’t have to deal with adapters or anything like that. Each unit is also pretty compact so these will fit in pretty much any mid tower and we can’t forget the fully modular design, 80PLUS certifications, and Japanese capacitors.
