Monster DNA Fit Wireless Earbuds Overview
These earbuds center around their included charging case, which is definitely larger than other I’ve seen. These is really take make up for the clips that come off each earbud. We have the “Red” version of the earbuds that come in a black case with a large red Monster logo at the center. There is also a white version available. The charging case does have a pretty interesting fabric covering on it.
On one end of the case you’ll find a USB-C connection for charging. This is a also a wireless charging case, but you’ll need to provide your own wireless charger if you plan on charging it that way. I did test the case with the wireless charger I have it and worked no problem. This is not simply just a charging case, but it also holds 500 mAh of power so if you have the case charged up and don’t have access to power you’ll be able to still charge the earbuds.
Opening the case up inside you’ll find your earbuds. The inside of the case is red to match the logo on the outside of the case which is a nice touch. Removing the earbuds we can see the contacts where are used to charge them.
Taking a closer look at the earbuds they sort of have a triangular shape to their main body and of course the clip that comes off from the main part of the earbuds. The clip part of the earbuds is rubber, which should be pretty comfortable when you are wearing them.
For those wondering about actual specifications on the earbuds they support Bluetooth 5.0, have a 13mm driver, and have a frequency response of 20 hz – 20 kHz. The battery life is listed at 7-8 hours and 5-6 hours if you have active noise canceling enabled.
On the main part of the earbuds there is a Monster logo, which is actually a multifunction button that allows you to easily switch between modes and more. There is also a smaller button on the top-edge of the earbuds that allows you to control the volume.
