Scythe Fuma 3 CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts

The Scythe Fuma 3 might be our pick for the best CPU cooler of 2023! It really impressed us with its easy installation as well as performance. The changes Scythe made to the design not only made the cooler look better, but also really improved the performance as well. Starting with performance the Fuma 3 sits at the top of our test group in a three-way tie with the Cooler Master MasterAir MA624 Stealth and the Noctua NH-D15 Chromax.Black. That is quite impressive as both of these cooler are larger and more expensive.

When we get into larger dual-tower coolers one of the most important things is installation. The installation of the Fuma 3 could not be easier and we did not run into a single issue during our installation. Also it is worth noting that the instructions were extremely easy to follow. I would suggest installing this cooler outside of a case, but if you really didn’t want to have to remove your motherboard you could get installation done inside your case.

When it comes to looks you don’t have anything super flashy here as there is no lighting on the cooler, but Scythe did update the cooler by adding some top caps which give it a more sleek look overall. Also since this cooler gives you 100% memory clearance if you have RGB memory you don’t have to worry about it being blocked by the front fan on the cooler.

This cooler is currently selling for $49.99 at our favorite online retailer, which is an amazing price considering many of the coolers it is competing with are far more expensive than that. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Scythe Fuma 3 CPU Cooler a 10 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
