ASUS is definitely not a new name here at ThinkComputers, but this is the first time we will be taking a look at one of their CPU liquid coolers. The ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB White Edition boasts a ton of awesome features that not only enhance its cooling performance, but also provide a great looking product with easy installation as well. From the 8th generation Asetek pump design, to the integrated VRM cooling, ASUS has really worked to make sure the Ryujin III improves upon the series’ heritage. Throw in the magnetic ARGB fans, and 3.5″ LCD display on the pump housing, and you’ve got a great looking cooler to boot. This cooler is shaping up to be impressive, so let’s get right into it!
Special thanks to ASUS for providing the ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB White Edition review sample!

Packaging
ASUS has a really nice retail package for the Ryujin III, with a ROG-stylized box, adorned with ROG symbols and phrases. The front/top of the box gives a nice view of the full cooler, along with icons indicating some of the features found on the unit.
The back/bottom of the box has a few shots of the individual components, as well as a full specifications list. Lots of information to take in when reviewing the product in a retail setting.
With the box opened up, the Ryujin III is snugly held in place via a cardboard frame, along with the three 120mm fans and accessories kit.
Accessories
Speaking of accessories, ASUS includes an installation manual, sticker sheet, and installation components bag with the cooler. Inside the installation components bag is mounting hardware for all current Intel and AMD desktop platforms, fan screws, and fan connection cabling. ASUS has done a lot to simplify the installation of this cooler, so outside of the mounting hardware, there isn’t much needed to go along with it.
